I’m a huge fan of veggies, but I can never get enough of them in my diet. So what do I do? I add the devil’s lettuce (aka: spinach) into my smoothies. Just kidding, spinach isn’t the devil, Brussels sprouts are.
Let’s add some green to that smoothie of yours.
- 1 bowl of frozen mango and pineapple chunks
- 1 banana
- 1/2 a bowl of spinach
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 cup of yogurt (I used Noosa’s Vanila Bean)
- 1/2 cup of milk (I used almond milk)
Start by adding spinach, milk, avocado, and milk. Blend those together. Then add in 1/2 the bowl of fruit and the yogurt into the blender. And last but not least, blend in the banana. I like to break up my ingredients and blend in segments so I don’t burn out my blender.
And bam: a simple way to add some greens into your life.
