My Top 3 Favorite Moisturizers for Sensitive Skin

Y’all. I have such a hard time keeping my skin happy and healthy. Everyone preaches for you to drink more water, change your pillow cases to some fancy pants type no one can afford, move somewhere that doesn’t have winter, etc. Okay, I’m being dramatic, but you get where I’m going with this.

My skin decides to either be really dry for part of the year, really oily, or it’ll combine both of them and torture me. Moisturizers I would try on my face would either dry out my face to the point where I actually get burned by the product, or add to the oily mess and clog my pores.

After years of playing Russian Roulette with skin care products, I have finally found products that actually work with my skin. I’ve tried finding more natural products to use on my skin to see if that helps any. Do they fix the fluctuation of dry versus oily skin? No, but they work well with my skin in either state and don’t add to the chaos.

So, what products am I talking about? Let’s take a look!

(This is not a sponsorship or paid post, I bought these products myself and thoroughly enjoy them (: )

1) Burt’s Bees Renewal: Firming Night Cream

Okay, I know what you’re thinking: Hailey, why the heck are you using a night cream during the day? Here’s the thing: this is one of the best things I’ve ever bought for my face. If you use this moisturizer as it’s intended, then it’s going to be way too heavy for your daily routine. Especially with makeup. I only use enough for a very, very thin layer over my face. Seriously, a little goes a long way with this cream. You don’t need a lot! It’s also a 98.9% natural product. It keeps my face moisturized all day! The box shows studies of this cream reducing wrinkles and firming skin, but I haven’t really seen a change in my skin’s physical appearance. I bought my most recent jar in October, and it’s currently February and I’m just now almost done with it. This little guy was around $20. It’s a steal!

2) Pacifica Coconut Probiotic Rehab Cream

I’m obsessed with anything coconut, so naturally I had to try this one out. I LOVE this moisturizer. It has coconut water in it which gives it a very light weight feel; you can use it for the day time and comfortably at night if you need it. Pacifica is a vegan, cruelty free, clean beauty brand. Their products are reasonably priced, and they last. This one runs around $14-$16. I always somehow manage to get them on sale and pay about $10.

3) Juice Beauty: Oil free moisturizer w/SPF 30

Y’all. I would 100%, hands down recommend this moisturizer. Juice is a skin care brand that uses organic components in their products. My skin had a really bad reaction to a face wash I used from a different brand (like i’m talking burning my skin to the point where I had painful dry patches all over my face and I couldn’t put makeup or anything on for 2 months) and a gal from ULTA suggested that I use this moisturizer from Juice Beauty. She even let me try it out in the store. I was shocked, because everything I had tried to help the dry patches burned, but this one didn’t! It’s so light and if you don’t wear makeup in the summer like me, that’s all you need to get your face ready for the day, especially with its SPF 30. The only reason I haven’t re-bought this moisturizer is because the price varies between $30-$40, and I never usually have the money to put down on this product.

Those are my top 3 favorite facial moisturizers. I have really sensitive skin, so taking care of it can be difficult. No matter which product I have in my daily routine, they never fail my picky, combination skin.

What are your favorite facial moisturizers?
